The Vision

Our Mission
The Magic Ride Foundation offers immersive adventure rides that transport children in hospitals into worlds of imagination, using portable AR/VR technology and dome projection motion systems. From soaring on dragons to exploring deep space, these experiences help alleviate the stress and pain that often accompany medical treatments. Our goal is clear: to provide joy and an escape in the most difficult of times.
Our Impact
We work tirelessly to bring joy and comfort to children. Each immersive experience aims to create lasting memories that promote healing and happiness, helping to distract young minds from their medical challenges, fostering resilience and hope.

VR Experiences: Jurassic Jungle Cruise
This is the Work In Progress preview. (best in VR) I'm working on lighting and the animator is starting next week!
Imagine a child who hasn't left their hospital bed in weeks suddenly gliding through a prehistoric jungle, surrounded by towering dinosaurs and lush canopy. The Jurassic Jungle Cruise takes riders down a winding river where gentle giants drink at the water's edge, pterodactyls soar overhead, and a hidden cave behind a thundering waterfall reveals a world of glowing wonder. For a few extraordinary minutes, there are no IV lines, no waiting rooms, no white walls — just pure adventure. Built in Unreal Engine and optimized for VR, this experience was designed from the ground up to give children in hospitals something every kid deserves: a chance to explore, to gasp, to laugh, and to forget.

Community Outreach
Fundraising Efforts
Through partnerships with hospitals, we reach out to various medical institutions, aiming to expand our services to as many children as possible, creating smiles and joy.
We organize events and activities to raise funds, ensuring sustainability and growth for our programs and solidifying our commitment to brightening children's lives.
Safety
Patient Safety & Eligibility
The safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority. We recognize that due to certain medical conditions, treatments, or medications, not every child may be able to participate in an immersive experience. That's why we work closely with hospital staff to quietly screen eligibility before any child is ever made aware that an experience is available. No child is told about a ride and then turned away. Our process is designed so that every interaction a child has with Magic Ride Foundation is a positive one — and those who aren't able to participate simply never know what they missed.
Medical Advisory Board
All Magic Ride Foundation experiences are developed in consultation with pediatric healthcare professionals, child life specialists, and clinical advisors who help us ensure our content is safe, age-appropriate, and free of elements that could cause distress or adverse reactions. From motion sensitivity and sensory overload to seizure risk and emotional triggers, our Medical Advisory Board reviews every experience before it reaches a single child. We don't guess — we listen to the people who know these kids best.
